Canon SD1200IS - The Perfect Point & Shoot Camera!
I bought and sent two other Canon digital cameras, because I was not with the quality of indoor photography satisfied. Too many adjustments. In the meantime, I happened to buy this device for me, but he bought as a birthday present For my niece of 13 years () blue torqouise. Upon receipt, I want the box to test it to ensure, first, it was not broken. I was immediately blown away by the 1 and 2 BOTH INDOOR pictures I! It takes exactly the kind of clear picture inside I was looking for. I took it to facilitate the loading of the box, the battery and started snapping. UNLIKE THE MORE EXPENSIVE canyons I returned, I had ALL THESE ADJUSMENTS not to do to get decent images. Clear images and a strong inner light, even on the LCD. Decent flash Automatic inside.
The functions must be understood very simply and easily. It is much thinner than other cameras digital, more like a cell phone, therefore, appropriate and easily in any pocket. For image quality and portability, it gets 5 stars from me. This is the kind of PAL camera that you want to work for a short stay or a family would be ready. And I love Rechargeable battery and charger comes with it. However, you must purchase your memory card, because this model does not come with a free people, but it cares? I already had three memory cards, so I added in the device before sending it to my niece in Michigan (I live California). Now I am ready to get one of these for me. "This is a true" READY CAMERA "

This is one of the best paris developed and compact when it is the best quality for a low price. For less than $ 200 this device is small and manageable and takes high quality photos internal and external. In general, small digital cameras at low prices, because this is a struggle when it comes to low light conditions, Canon SD1200IS but the natural product non-washed out flash pictures and blur with no flash with slight granularity, depending on how dark it is. The only thing that I thought could have done better to have more options for monitoring and lighting presets rather limited.
However, if you do not really play with the settings too much for a picture quickly, it pulls very well. They even throw in something that most devices Digital photos have now been removed, a manual viewfinder. Another advantage would be provided for the batteries you are going to purchase new batteries and takes a long time on a single charge. After racing for a few months before Christmas 2009, this camera came at the beginning and this is not disappoint.
Many professionals ask everyone - really like all the others have the world experience with these cameras. I have been studied, two new digital cameras and stinging eyes. My last was a Canon PowerShot G2 what I love, but it's just a brick. I heard this new joint is Canon, but it seems more positive than negative. Series A has some manual functions for the self-Pro, which is nice. The camera is a big big, but it uses AA batteries. The 850 is smaller, but uses a battery, be boring, if it can not properly calculated. Would appreciate your opinion of whether you have one or the other device, or elsewhere, may recommend superior alternative. Thank you.
Yes, you already know the difference between the cameras. Try going http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ProductCatIndex1Act&fcategoryid=101 and click "Powershot" cameras and then use the "compare" function. SD850 IS victories: the SD850 IS 8-MP vs MP 7. The SD850-IS goes to ISO 1600 ISO 800 vs The SD850-IS has the new DIGIC II vs DIGIC III - It is a faster and better color reproduction. A710-IS wins: the SD850 IS is that up to 140 mm (equiv.) against 210 mm. SD850-IS lack manual control, which has the A710-IS. I have the SD900 and very enthusiastic about the camera, but I must call it my "pocket" camera that I use, If I do not want to drive one of my SLR. I made to the size of the sensor and DIGIC III. When the SD850-IS was in the time available, I would probably choose to you know who know your tastes order you choose, or draw. I would buy the 850, but since you asked for further discussion, could you look at the SD900. I done for the sensor size. Here is a comparison between 10 MP image from the SD900 is a 1/1.8 "sensor and a 6 is a picture of a MP SD700 IS is a 1/2.5" sensor. Ok, I do not know if one compares the number of pixels or sensor size here, but look anyway to see what you think about the differences. Click on "All sizes ", then" Original "to judge for themselves. Http: / / www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstein/944309888/ Here's another: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7189769 @ N04/485855174 / I have to admit that the image stabilization is a long path to the image improvingthe. If you print pretty much what you get without a significant increase or reduce, the SD850 IS may be the best choice because you're not much difference in a 4x6 to see uncropped printing. If you're making enlargements, though we may prefer the larger sensor on the SD900. I have several photos on Flickr, the full frame some cultures and very tight. I declare usualyl reframing how much has been done, so you can evaluate it. See: http://www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstein/tags/SD900
Anyone using an OEM version or non CANON branded battery & notice any problems or have done a comparison? I'm in debate whether to purchase the extra $$ few bucks on a Canon branded battery pack or to buy an OEM or non-branded LP-E8 battery. Any advice, recommendations, or thoughts?
LP-E8 battery for the Canon T2i/550D in particular.
I use this LPE8 battery as a spare battery for my EOS 550D camera. After almost a month of use I cannot distinguish between this and Canon OEM battery in terms of battery life, quality, ease of use. No issues of any kind. Buy 2 packs only $32.22 on amazon.
