Great DSLR for the money
I had this for almost a Year now and it is quite a bit of fun. I have added a zoom lens and a flash for my kit and will probably add a wide angle lens next. So the next step in the modernization of the body. It is a very good camera for learning to take photos in the digital world. I recommend having a class or two, as the use of camera functions, there are many, even on this device Photo entry level. I also recommend buying a flash as the flash of the camera is not very powerful and can cause lot of hard shadows. Final note. Look long and hard to grasp various software suites for the treatment of images as they really help improve mood and the scene you mediate in the image. Finally, I say, sit back and enjoy the ride. Canon Rebel XSi write good for amateur photographers
superb camera for amateur photographers beginners. I always had a digital point-n-shoot for the longest Time, but a new weapon camera point-n-shoot and a trip to Niagara Falls changed his mind. I was very impressed with rifles and quality Image of the camera. I have been interested in photography semi-professionally. So I looked in digital SLR cameras.
This device is a great camera. If you are serious about the photography as I am, I recommend this camera. All the bad reviews I have read here on Amazon made the impression that the aircraft had problems. But this is simply not true outside the defective product, the camera is good, it is the objectives that you must be careful. The device is comfortable to hold, not so difficult, and heck of a lot better than Point-N-Shoot you had before. It might take some time to go where all the knobs are used to, and around them quickly. Many things are with this unit if you have never owned a digital SLR overwhelming or taken photography courses. For example, when the buttons are, know where all the functions are and the more difficult is to learn about aperture, shutter speed Shutter and exposure. But do not be discouraged if you have time, you will learn everything goes well.
Price was great at Amazon here. That was the lowest price I saw during the search for new devices.
For the purpose he has been with 18-55mm IS, it is a very good goal. Going through all the posts you see here many problems autofocus. The thing is, when the objective is no autofocus can manual focus only. But you can ask, "How often should I do?". The answer is not much. The only time my auto focus camera had problems with night shot without flash, and pointed to the sky open. Sometimes you get some players (Depending on the stage and coolness) that the camera at something closer to your subject want to emphasize. As the firing through the tall grass or grass. Probably just want to go to MF in this scenario, as I do. I mean, after what one of the main reasons why I need a DSLR to take control of the development have. It is a good goal.
Overall, great camera, great prices, high quality. I am glad I bought it. Learn more about Canon Digital Rebel XTi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens (Black)

WOW You can not go wrong with the XSi!
I owned the camera for 1 week now, and WOW! This camera is simply amazing, and the picture quality is outstanding! The kit lens that comes with it is impressive also used for lighting outdoor environments. (Some of my test images in indoor and outdoor pictures with my window blinds were open to breathtaking.) However, the kit lens a bit too slow for handheld shooting in dark places where using the flash.
For those of you new photography, a lens "slow" is basically one in which the panel will not open not broad enough to include a reasonable amount of light to gather in dark places. Therefore, the shutter stays open longer perceived up enough light. This also means that if your hand shakes, pictures in the dark settings fairly broken out blurry. This is not exclusively xsi lens for each wire so slow on the camera to similar results. If blurry pictures inside not what you want, you can correct that using the flash, use a tripod, or ...
